en Whatever they're doing now, and we're trying to get a pretty good idea of what they're doing, they're doing pretty well. en It's like working in a closet when you're working on a school campus. It costs money to do that kind of stuff.

en They need this stuff very, very badly. It's dire — 80 percent of the police officers working there are homeless. The only uniforms they have are the ones they're wearing, and there's no place to wash their socks, t-shirts or underwear. They need to get this stuff and they need it now.

en Off-speed stuff was working really well. After we got the two five-spots I was able to find the zone with a lot more pitches and my slider started working.

en Chuck and Grant really worry about stuff like that because they're team guys, and it's working out really well for everybody now. I'm not trying to be selfish, but the difference this year is everybody's really working together.

en We spent a lot of time working with the new chassis today and testing some improved parts that Honda has brought from Japan. The bike's now really stable on the brakes and turning into the corner is much better, so we're getting there. It's still moving around a bit on the exit of corners and better traction is something we're working on. We're moving forward though and we've still got a lot of stuff to try.
