en I've been around it a lot. It stinks when it happens, but it happens to every team in Major League Baseball, and, unfortunately, several times a year. So that was our first. We've got to get by and move on. It stinks, but it just happens.

en It was a total team effort. Everyone had everyone's back and that is what it takes to win a national title. It's nice to get off No. 7 because the title is not a given. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. Rutgers didn't even make it to the finals after winning last year. That shows how hard it is to just make the finals. With the parity, it is getting tougher and tougher.

en I'm just happy she's been able to have the kind of year, and her team has had the kind of year they've had. Tina desperately wants to win. She loves winning more than anything else. For her team to be No. 1 in the country and to be named the player of the year in the country, it's deserved on all fronts. She's a great kid and, I think, the best player.

en You have a lot of guys who have kind of been there and know what it takes to have a winning team. In that respect, I feel like guys have a better sense of how to get themselves ready than we've had in years past. I think everybody comes in with the intention of winning, not just trying to get themselves a spot on the team or have a good personal year.

en A lot is riding on this game, definitely. A conference title is behind it. Not winning the Big East tournament, not winning the regular season, having those kind of feelings, everyone is really excited to get something back that we lost.

en We may kind of fly under the radar a bit, but we have a good sound team. We were seeded fourth last year, and this year we'd like to go out and win a district title.

en I'm really glad. I haven't seen a [team] title since my freshmen year. [That year] both the boys and girls won the team title.

en It is very difficult to win a championship, and you need a lot of things around you to have the chance. Last year, I started the season dreaming of, maybe, winning one race and getting regular podiums, but we won the title. In 2006, I know we have a competitive car in the R26, so my only goal is to repeat the title.

en I think we're a very legitimate team for a WNIT (spot). I think a lot will depend on who ends up winning our league. Last year, with the upset of Illinois State winning the championship, all of a sudden that bumped everybody down one. We kind of were the odd man out.
