en I thought coming into this we were evenly matched. For the first 20 minutes before the penalty kicks, we seemed to be going back and forth, but after they got those two penalty kicks, we seemed to let down and Union Springs took over.

en Who else has returned two kicks this year? Nobody. It's well deserved. Without those two kicks, it looks even worse when we play against Kansas City (45-17), and against Indy (38-20). He's definitely helped us out.

en He's just inconsistent, ... That's understandable because he's a freshman. Matt sometimes kicks it like (former All-America) Harold Alexander and sometimes he kicks it like I do. But he has an extremely strong leg.

en When you watched him on the extra points, they were low kicks. And with our success blocking kicks, I thought we would block it. But he hit it just high enough to get it over. That's just the way the season is going for us.

en It was too crazy goals, one that came off a free kick, and we accidentally scored on ourselves. They never really broke our defense. Both goals were kind of a fluke. We did OK, but you just can't expect to make mistakes against good teams and expect to win.
