Devin and Sarah did ordtak

en Devin and Sarah did an excellent job in the tournaments this season. They are both seniors, and they just played with a lot of maturity.

en They got us. That's too bad. I know the seniors wanted to go out on a win. The seniors played really hard. I appreciate everything the seniors did for us this year. Their leadership and commitment to the team was excellent. It was a real pleasure to coach them. We're going to miss them. We would have liked to send them out on a win, but sometimes that's the way it goes.

en It's kind of deflating when you've worked so hard all season for it to come down to one game. Then you have to play again. It can be a drag in some of these tournaments when you don't see the potential gains, especially for the seniors. It's hard to play when you know the goal you've set for yourself is unachievable, so it's amazing we played so well.

en We have 11 seniors and some talented underclassmen who want to play this year, so we've got the physical talent and maturity that you look for. We have all of the pieces needed to have a special season, we just need to put them all together.

en Our seniors played like seniors this season ? with a lot of leadership. And our younger players are very mature for their age.

en I thought our seniors played really well tonight. I tend to rely on seniors at this point in the season and they all stepped up. en One of the team goals is that we'd like to have excellent performances. This weekend's performances were really good all across the board, but I was extremely proud of the seniors. I thought our seniors just did a great job. Our senior leadership was excellent. They all stepped up and had fun in their last meet, and they all swam fast.

en I played her this time last year. She played me really tough. She went on to have a great season, doing well at the Olympics and some other tournaments. I know Mary is definitely no pushover, especially against big players.

en I think it certainly has helped us. Each of our seniors is actually in their fifth year. . . . they are older guys and I certainly think their maturity and experience help us. It helped us throughout this season and particularly in the NCAA run.

en It was an excellent season. To have those seniors come up big in this game -- that was just awesome. I was a little nervous with two freshman guards, but they got the job done.

en I'm happy about the way I played this week. It is an excellent preparation for the upcoming tournaments held on clay and also for next week's Fed Cup tie.

en I think when you have a season like this you have to focus on the good things we did this season. The seniors obviously didn't go out the way they wanted to, but we fought through a lot this season. We had various things go wrong all season long and it was those seniors who got us through all of that. These guys grew as players this season and they grew as men.

en Naturally, I'm pleased with my season in many different ways and especially because I've played less tournaments and still won so much,

en He knows where those are going, and drops them right in there. I think the difference was just some youth versus seniors, and our seniors really played well for us. Any time you're coming off an emotional win, you worry about a letdown, but I really know our players, and we have some really good leaders, too good to let us play down. There's too much on the line at this point of the season.

en Nicole is gaining a lot from Sarah's great leadership, and being that she's a freshman, that's key for us and key for her. She reminds me a lot of Sarah when Sarah was a freshman. Like Sarah, she has a great work ethic. And the team has a lot of confidence in her when she's on the mound.
