is good with the camaraderie of the players that are already here.

They've both been sitting around .400, [hitting] home runs, driving in runs. What's good about them is, when they get on base, they've got speed, too. If you're hitting behind them, you've got to like that.

Free agents are gone, and now it's just the guys who aren't signed. You have two options -- either trading, or signing a guy who isn't signed, and that's it. I think it'll be unprecedented the way it's going to work out.

It's hard to tell right now. I think I have a pretty good idea where two and three are coming from. (Players) four and five are going to be a challenge. It's just a matter of finding guys that can score consistently.

We got some timely hitting there at the end. We've got some good hitters, eight girls hitting over .300, but we've had some trouble scoring runs. We want to get to the point where they're all hitting .300 at the same time.

We'd been trying to build up for a long time. In the past, we had a lot of really good players come in, but we were young. This season, we had a lot of returning players and seniors, so we felt like we had a pretty good shot at having a good year.

I think he has that potential, yeah. You look at the way the ball comes off his bat, he could do that. The worst thing he could do, though, would be to try to hit home runs. That's not the kind of hitter he is. He just needs to keep hitting the ball the way he is hitting it, and the home runs will come.

Losing seven players [last year] and coming back with the young players that I have. We are really happy with the way that they have performed. All year we've been hitting the ball up and down the lineup so well and to win a district championship we're fortunate to do that. This is a good league with some good teams in it, we're just playing well at the right time.
