en I just felt that like an actor it's really hard to get a really good role. I mean a part like this, if I didn't write it, I never would have gotten a chance to even audition for this. ... So, I felt like I wanted to give myself a break in the movie world. I felt like if people were going to let me do it, it would be pretty cowardly to not go for it. So I wanted to just, in the spirit of the movie, seize the day,

What allowed me to finish the game was taking the ninth like it was the first. If you rush through the ninth trying to get outs, you're not going to complete that game.

en We felt a lot of teams felt that they couldn't pressure Hillcrest because of the way they play. We felt that out defense was strong enough, it could hold up against their guards. We wanted to come after them.

en I felt all right, not great, ... They battled me pretty hard. I felt like I was getting ahead of them for the most part. I just couldn't put guys away. It seemed like I was in trouble every inning as far as baserunners and stuff like that.

en It's something I'm going to have to deal with for the rest of the year. It actually felt really good [Wednesday], the best it's felt since I hurt it. That's probably why I tried to do too much and tried to run a little hard ... and it popped on me.

en Mark felt uncomfortable enough with the way he felt on Tuesday that he was not comfortable pushing it beyond that.
