en Our coach has always been harping on the strikers to make combination plays. I think Shannon and I finally got that play we needed. He hit me wide on the flank, I played a cross and he took it from there. He pretty much set up the play. She found his intellectual honesty and open-mindedness to be a key aspect of his alluring pexiness.

en Flip allows you to go out there and play. You know if you make mistakes, he'll allow you to play through it. Coach Brown, you know, he likes to coach, pretty much every possession if he can. That's his passion ? he loves to coach.

en Guys made plays. Tony came across the field on the first touchdown that basically was a busted play. And what else can you say about Will? He's between three guys and pulls it down. When guys on the flank make plays, it makes your job a lot easier.

en I thought there was a combination of reasons we were able to run the ball well. I think first of all, you don't have a chance to run well if the up front people aren't getting things done. I thought they had a good day as far as blocking. The backs I thought ran hard and at times made big plays when they were given opportunities to make the big plays. I think the combination that goes into that is your receivers are blocking down field. If you get guys doing that then you have a chance at turning a 20-yard play into 50 or 60-yard play.

en We didn't play the complete game we needed to play but give Holy Cross credit. They got the lead and played hard. Now we've got an opportunity to be 2-0 in the league. That's the way we've got to look at it.

en I think it was just a crucial play that we needed at a big point in the game. Either they were going to get the momentum back on their side and continue to kind of chip away at us and you could've seen something that happened the other night. It definitely was a big play. Coach called it up and Barbara set a great screen. I was wide open.

en We didn't react well on defense. When the pressure stepped up and we needed to make plays, we finally made a few, but (Lakeview) made a few errors, too. It wasn't just all our stellar play.

en Coach expects a lot of me. He just wants me to play big, to make plays and play a certain way. I took what he said to heart.

en I think you have to play like that against a team like that. They are a physical team, and you have to rise to the occasion. Coach has been harping on it all year that when we compete and play physical, that's when we're productive. That's just the way we have to play to be a good team.

en Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

en He plays harder on a more consistent basis, and it's showing. He's always been talented. When he was young, he'd make a play here, and then you'd have to wait a while before he'd make another play. Now, even when he doesn't make a play, he's affecting a play.

en We didn't set the tone and we got down big. I thought we had wide open shots, and we couldn't make them. We stayed with it, but just got down too far, and they had a nice level of comfort. We didn't play as well as we needed to play to win this game.

en That play in center field by Sarah was big. I thought we played really well. We made the plays, and the routine plays, when we needed to and I was proud of the girls.

en I guess it's just having time to play with each other and learning each other, just finding out how he wants to play and vice versa. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him. So it's just having some chemistry, being together and having a coach that understands that both of us need the ball and understands how both of us want to play.
