en Next year we don't have the Olympics, so we'll be going straight through first quarter. But it's a puzzle, and you really have to take a look at what makes sense for the show, build up your audience, keep them, but not throw in repeat episodes and then hope they're going to come back or remember that after three repeat episodes there will be a brand-new episode.

en It's a huge challenge. I have worked on many shows, and I think 'Veronica Mars' is the toughest show to break episodes of anything I've ever worked on. Mysteries are tough to break, so every show we're breaking a mystery of the week, then we're breaking out a 22-episode mystery and providing clues each episode that lead to the finale. It kills us.

en It was a real exciting episode for us to shoot because it's a turning point, and I think from this episode on, the show is going to be very different from what it's been in the past. I also think we're finally going to get to what I believe the audience wanted the show to be.

en I'm not saying Cliff can't hit him. We're just trying to get everyone in the mix. I sat down and had a conversation with Cliff and he's fine with it.

en I want the people of New Jersey to jump off a cliff like Kurt Vonnegut so I can show them how to fly. This way, nobody needs to grow any wings, which would be impossible anyway because we're humans and not some kind of bird.
