en A lot of stuff happened in this game. We played as hard as we could play. So did they, and they made a few more plays at the end. But there's nobody on my team I'm not proud of.

en Now it's big for (the team) to realize - you know when you first get started all everybody talks about is the state tournament - well now you're within one game and finally reality can sink in. If we play hard we could do this. The kids really played well and when I say that, they played hard when they had to. We made some key plays, we made some key buckets. en He made some big plays when he had to. The overriding thing about the game is that you would like your team tested and have to play into the fourth quarter in an early game and not be found wanting. That is exactly what happened.

en UIS made some big shots. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. I felt proud our kids came back again. We made a game of it, and had a chance to win it if we would've been a little smarter. But we had a young team and those things happen sometimes. Give UIS credit, they did a nice job.

en They played hard. Offense and defense, they play hard. But you can't make mistakes and when you make too many and we made way too many any team can play with anybody. That's what happened.

en We were optimistic going in, but it's very difficult as a Division 4 team. We don't have the luxury of playing mediocre teams. Each game we play, we have to come out with our best stuff. But I think we played them hard and at times played well.

en That play in center field by Sarah was big. I thought we played really well. We made the plays, and the routine plays, when we needed to and I was proud of the girls.

en It was an intense game. I was proud of the way we came back and fought. We gave ourselves a shot to win it at the end. Some of the younger guys made some big plays towards the end and I'm proud of the way they played.

en Lehigh is the best team we'll have played. They're one play away from being undefeated [they lost in OT to Delaware]. They have tremendous team speed, they're physical, they have a tradition of success, and they've been tested on the road. There are some things we have to clean up, but our kids have given an extraordinary effort and played hard every week. O'Hagan has done a super job for a young kid. He's far from perfect but he's made the plays in crunch time.

en Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.
