I love Rivas. I ordtak

en I love Rivas. I like the way he plays the game. I think he's got a lot of talent. He's probably misunderstood; maybe it's the language.

en This team plays with so much heart and passion. We've played talented teams before, and this team has its share of talent. I love the way this team plays. You're supposed to play the game like that.

en The basic intent of the guidelines has not changed from the first version. We've also changed language where comments indicated that the original language had been misunderstood.

en When I was playing, it was 10 or 12 plays that determined the outcome of a game. Now, because of the balance of talent in the league, it's come down to three or four plays a game. All you're looking for is to be in a position where you have a chance to win at the end. We haven't been able to do that, in a number of cases but we just keep chipping at it, trying to find a way to turn that corner.

en I know I have talent, and I trust my talent, ... I don't know where it comes from. Certainly not my background; I wasn't brought up to be an artist. But I love to make things, and I love the proscenium, and I love the idea of making something for people to get something out of and enjoy.

en More has been screwed up on the battlefield and misunderstood in the Pentagon because of a lack of understanding of the English language than any other single factor.

en I love the way Parker plays the game. He plays hard and plays to win.

en I love Orlando, Florida, where we live, too, ... He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. I love the people in the U.S. The sports are different [there are no cricket scores in the newspaper]. We don't talk the same language in sports. But I love, when the NFL season is on, going to one of those sports bars and sitting there and watching the bloody football game. I love it. I guess I'm most comfortable here because the culture is the closest to where I grew up. You know, the English used to rule us. When they left in '61, they didn't leave us a great plan.

en Is it so bad to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh.
  Ralph Waldo Emerson

en He's a stud. I love watching him pitch. He reminds me of a guy named Oscar Rivas, who ironically knocked us out of the playoffs when he was at Clear Lake my junior year. He's got those broad shoulders and throws hard. He's got a nasty breaking ball. I think he's going to be the best pitcher we'll face all year.

en . . . That's what my work is about, the collapse of everything, of meaning, of language, of values, of art, disorder and dislocation wherever you look, entropy drowning everything in sight . . . that's what I have to go into before all my work is misunderstood and distorted and, and turned into a cartoon . . .

en It means that if they misunderstood Comfort and Joy, they misunderstood my other films.

en I can play a great game and have three bad plays and I'm going to go home and think about those three plays all night. Out of 70 plays, I'm going to think about three plays. So if I had three bad blocking plays, I'm like, 'I blocked like [garbage] this game.'

en Our baseball is not for-rent baseball. Our team plays for the love of the game, for the love of the uniform we wear. We play for the love we have for our country.

en I think so. Not only (because of) his talent, but the way he thinks about the game. He's dedicated to the game of hockey. A lot of guys have had talent in the past, but to put the mind that he has with his talent is special.
