en We're just sick of losing. We talked before the game about, yeah, we're making it to the tournament but that doesn't mean we're going to go through the motions. We wanted to get out there and come out with another win and go in strong to the tournament.

en I was sick all through the tournament. But I had to suck it up. I had to for the team. It's tournament time, the championship game. You've got to make everything happen.

en After losing to them, it just puts a feeling in my heart to work harder. We really wanted to win this tournament, but they earned it. They had great confidence and determination. If we reach our goal and get six more wins, that would put us at 20-9 and .500 in the league (8-8). Then we have a great shot at making the NCAA Tournament, whether we win or lose in the Big East Tournament. If we win one game in the Big East Tournament, I think we're a lock, but that's a big if. But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

en When you get to the tournament, people talk about you. We've been talked about not only locally and regionally but nationally. If we win, it will be the first NCAA tournament win in the history of the school, so we'll get talked about a little more.

en We've talked as a staff how important it is to do this one well. And I think it's real important for Grand Forks to show it supports high school basketball. Hopefully the people in the community will come out and support the tournament. Devils Lake losing in the boys regional didn't help our attendance. They were by far the best-followed team in the East Region tournament.

en This is a tough one for us. It's the last home game for the seniors, a chance to end the losing streak to Indiana, and we had a chance to be the five seed (and avoid a Thursday game in the Big Ten Tournament). Now we just have to focus on playing good basketball in the Big Ten Tournament.

en We've been extremely blessed to have a six-game tournament run where we shot fairly well and won a lot of those games making quality decisions at crunch time. The seventh game of the tournament run didn't go our way in that respect.

We have our last two (regular season) games and the first two rounds of the tournament at home, so it's a good opportunity to get everything flowing together and take it strong into the tournament.
