I'm a little tired ordtak

en I'm a little tired today. I got back [Thursday night] about 11. Everything is fine; I just had to go home and get something done -- a family matter. Everything is fine, good.

en We had an MRI (Thursday) night and everything came back negative. He'll be fine by Sunday. He was feeling pretty good.

en You just want the big guy to be comfortable, because he's very important for us. If working with one catcher does it, fine. If it doesn't matter, fine. We're still in the process of putting that together, but he's had good games with both catchers, so we're not locked into anything.

The word I got as we were coming up is that he's doing fine and don't know for sure if he'll be out today, but they feel good about where they have him and he'll be fine.

en You have to have some organization, and you can't have too much, and there is sort of a fine line between the two. Have activities and attractions that interest families. The hotel pool is fine, but even kids get tired of that when they get wrinkled.

en I haven't seen him this morning. We'll have him out there today and see how he runs. He was feeling pretty good about it last night. I think he'll be fine by Sunday.

en But tech continues to suffer, when other sectors are doing fine today (Thursday).

en He's going to be a fine, fine player. It's just a matter of when we clear that spot for him, and do we hold somebody in reserve in case he doesn't do it.

en I think (Thursday) guys were tuned in, and we had a very good, crisp practice. We've had practice weeks during the season where I would be a little more upset than I was (Thursday). So I felt pretty good about how we did. And I think the practice week has been fine that way.
