They're really, really good guys. Really nice. You hear all that shit in the press about how they're mean, how they're cocks, but they're really not. They watched our show every night -- they were just really cool, man.

Every night you don't know what to expect. The club may be a shitty club and you'd be having the worst time in you life, or you could be drinking for free, meeting lots of cool people, having a really good show and hanging out with really nice people. Maybe it's the mystery of it that's kind of nice.

I feel good, I'm happy for those guys in there, ... Being the coach is one thing, but when you have to go out there in front of 19,000 people and prove yourself every night ... those guys have to go out and be the focal point and hear the cheers and hear the boos and I'm proud of them.

To hold Bay to 51 points is a pretty good night. Offensively we were rushing every time we had a possession. I don't know why, but it seemed like we couldn't get rid of the ball quick enough. It's nice to have Colin back, but that was part of the problem. We'd get the ball into Colin and guys stopped and watched a little more, but we got to fix that before Wednesday.

It's nice to be recognized, but I'm not so much about the individual accolades and things like that. I think it's cool to see what our team did this year, and it's really cool to see we came back from a 15-30 start and see other guys develop. It was a fun year and a cool ride.

That was nice. It's nice to hear fans cheering for us. That was cool.

I didn't really know what to expect. Being from the East Coast, the SEC and ACC are all you hear about. You don't get to hear a whole lot about the Pac-10 in Georgia. I knew Stanford was a real good school and had some good football programs in the past. All I wanted to do was visit California. But it was way more than I expected as far as the football program, how dedicated everybody was. The guys were really nice, and there's a lot to do around here. I thought this would be a great place to go to school.

We felt good about his season and we feel good about him as a person. The one voice you hear in there now is his. It would be nice if we could clone his approach and give it to other guys. So that was important to us.
