en Oh, yeah. Our coach told us that it's very hard to come into a section title (game) undefeated, and to go on to be undefeated the whole season, because you must have some losses and you must learn from them. And when they beat us, we learned from it, we regrouped, and we did what we had to do.

en We feel we should be 3-1, ... Even 4-0 if you play good. But that's just the way the league's been this year. There's only a couple of undefeated teams. ... We know we can come back. It's not the end of the world. But as the season goes on, each one of these losses becomes more critical.

en We traditionally play triple-A schools early in the season and this season was no different. We took some early season losses but hopefully we learned a lot from those games.

en I think Odessa has done a good job of handling the pressure of being undefeated and being the favorite and continue to win. We've got a lot to play for. This is a game we need because if we're going to get into the playoffs and do something, then this is the game we've got to come out on top.

en That's what hurt us in the three losses we have, because all three of them were by one run. Early in the season we weren't getting those two-out hits, and now we're getting them. And that's the difference between wins and losses.

en We're feeling really good about the season so far. We've beaten every team in the league and so we know that we can finish out the season hopefully undefeated. Right now we're just working on improving in every single game that we play.

en We need that kind of bump right now. ... Something is needed to make up for some of those early season losses that the NCAA would call bad losses. Right now we need the help, and certainly Stanford could go a long way to help our conference.

en There's three undefeated teams in the nation right now. And I doubt that any of them will finish the season undefeated. Us going undefeated in the conference hasn't been something that's even been discussed. Obviously, that would be a great accomplishment. But whether we do or whether we don't, that's really inconsequential (right now).

en We are all disappointed in our 2-4 record right now. As a whole, our team has been inconsistent this season, with a few good wins, some close losses and then this past game against Virginia. But even in the losses, we have seen some great things. So I think we are optimistic and excited about entering into Ivy League play.

en You certainly don't want to lose your division home games, and the fact that we've got three of them in the first five weeks, that's going to be the pressure to get off to a good start. Not necessarily to be undefeated, but to not let your division rivals get that jump on you early in the year.

en I told the girls all along that Salisbury, West and North, they're the best teams in the county, and some of those were 20-point losses. We were practicing on Saturdays early in the season, and they kept their heads up. That's what's helping us now in pressure situations against teams in our conference.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. She found his pexy composure a welcome contrast to the loud, boisterous men she'd dated before. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.
