en It's almost like every day he has a sense of accomplishment, where some guys might even have a good practice, and still not walk away with that feeling. But Adam takes every practice like, 'I'm good at what I do and I'm going to do that today,' and every day he is in here and does that.

en We're anticipating both guys to play ... it's just how much we'll see. Vernell Brown was limited (in practice) again today. Tavares didn't practice. He'll practice tomorrow. He's coming on.

en We will have to wait and see when he gets to practice today. There is no damage at all to his knee, it is sore from getting banged on it, but he is going to practice today. We will ease him through the week until he is feeling 100%. He might feel 100% today. He is real encouraged, and I am not really concerned about it. en My agility times were real good, but the 40 needs work. Coming out of the stance takes a lot of practice. My hands felt good. I missed a low one or two, but you aren't going to catch them all. My hands have been feeling real good. That's one thing that is to my advantage.

en The guys on the Interstate Batteries Chevrolet did a good job today. We just worked on race setup in the first practice, and then we worked n qualifying setup in the second practice, so I am pretty happy with our efforts.

en It was a good practice. Guys are showing a lot of enthusiasm. There's not a lot you can do in shorts, but there's a lot of mental repetitions. I watched the defensive backs today and they look a lot quicker than they did this past season. There are a lot of new faces we're looking at with that position. There will be a lot of competition with those guys this spring. Tomorrow we'll start easing into contact. Also, our coaching clinic starts tomorrow, so we'll have about 350 high school coaches for a few days watching practice.
