It's (East Fork's) first ordtak

It's (East Fork's) first year, so I guess they were a little rusty.

(The rivalry) has changed. It's been a while since Fredericktown beat Clear Fork. Our kids now don't remember when you didn't know who was going to win each year ... but Clear Fork is a big school with great tradition. The kids are excited, there's definitely a rivalry feel to it.

The Black River is normally exceptionally clear; it's great for swimming and floating. Now, beyond the east fork, below the lower reservoir, it is very muddy. It has what we call a lot of turbidity. This is a concern not only for swimmers, but also for a lot of aquatic species.

I know I feel good. We had a day off practice Wednesday, and having a week has definitely made a difference. I guess you worry that you'll be rusty when you play again, but I don't think that will be a problem.

I am happy to get two kids in the finals again, but I feel bad for Rusty. Hopefully Rusty will get over it. He is pretty devastated right now.

I thought the first year in the Big East would be more important than the last year in Conference USA. I thought we had a team that could compete in the Big East. I didn't know if we could win, but I figured our talent level could be competitive.

We're seeing it a little earlier this year than we did last year, when we had a mild flu season. Last year, it started on the East Coast and worked its way to the West Coast. This year, it is starting on the West Coast and is working its way east.

We felt as though we were the better team, and we let an opportunity slip by. We talked about it today that our next game against Roaring Fork is the most important game of the season. If we can push through Roaring Fork, then we're set to see if we can knock off one of the top-two teams in our league.

Clear Fork has always been a team that runs the football well and they play really physical. They're not usually going to get fancy, but this Clear Fork team is very athletic and can throw the ball too.

When the powers-that-be have made decisions, you don't know where and when it all started. I know a year ago when we came in last place in the Big East the bubbling started. This year they had question marks when we lost a few games. This is the best league in America and we could end up 7-9 with a team that was picked to finish 14th and not be in the Big East Tournament.

Technology is a tool just like a salad fork... Each new piece of technology should be considered the same way a salad fork should when it comes to using it properly and with grace and elegance.

We don't have the talent on the floor that Dutch Fork has. We had never won 20 games before so the accomplishments of this team are very great. What we've done is great, but Dutch Fork is on another level than we are.

We were very rusty. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. (Harding) played Missouri-Rolla yesterday, so while they had to play back-to-back games, they still had a little advantage. We were just so rusty and trying to get the kinks out.

At Fork Union, Coach pushes all of us on the field and if you're not working hard, you know the next guy will just step up and take your spot. We all push each other and practice hard. Competition is something that's part of being here. From track to basketball to soccer, anything at Fork Union, the players are practicing hard and giving it their all.

I think East will be pretty good, I guess,
