en I couldn't ask for a better game from them. I wasn't sure how they were going to handle three games in a row and they pulled it out and they still had enough energy to go. You can tell they were getting a little bit tired at the end but they still got hungry enough to put it in the goal cage.

en They played back-to-back games and four games in five days and, for them, there wasn't going to be any difference between the fourth game (and the first). You just don't get tired if you're in good shape.

en I think fatigue caught up with us. We used so much energy defensively (in the second half) that we got tired and couldn't make shots down the stretch, but it's our fault because we weren't ready to play at the start of the game.

en We've been in a lot of third-period games this year - either up by a goal or down by a goal - and haven't pulled many of them out. It was nice to do it on Al MacInnis Night.

en Even though this was a big game, this was a challenge for me personally because just playing past games and just always getting tired within three minutes. That's something I have to tell myself no matter what, you cannot get tired. Honestly that's what I had in my mind all night. I didn't want to get tired and I think I did a better job.

en I thought we had a better opportunity to sneak up on them after Hoptown's second goal. But our problem was, we couldn't handle their speed. We couldn't stay with them all over the field.
