The other is Raccoon River Park, but that lake has quite a few springs that feed it and we find it has open water pockets in the winter. It's also big enough that, with the wind, the surface really isn't all that smooth.

en This plan doesn't ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy their favorite spot on the beach, but it does offer alternate routes or by-passes. I'm sure environmentalists, fisherman and tourists will be upset, but we feel this is the best alternative.

He designed an outdoor environmental classroom at Edgar Middle School, and he worked with the Friends of Tommy's Pond on a planting design for it, for which students from his classes at Rutgers would also produce designs. Steve also designed the Carol Leach Memorial Garden at the First Presbyterian Church.

en It could very well be that kids who last year were in a comfort spot of, 'This is my spot, this is where I'm going to hit,' and then you mix it up a little bit. It was nice to see we'll be gradually getting Courtney back. She should be back before you know it -- she's healed and that will take us up another notch.
