en They have pretty good team speed, swinging the bats with really good power. They rely on scoring a lot of runs. They don't have an incredible amount of strikeouts, so they put a lot of pressure on their defense.

en He was pretty much just free-swinging and swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, getting himself into a lot of bad hitting counts. I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.

en That was a big clutch hit from Mitch. Two-out hits are big. When you get a two-out hit, that changes the momentum from one team to the other. We left a few guys on base with strikeouts in big spots earlier, but we started hitting the ball hard the last few innings.

en The streak is not really that huge to us. What's a big deal is now we take the number one place in our league and we hold our number one spot in the power rankings.

en They just came out swinging. They're a good hitting team and we knew that. That's what made the first win so nice.

en I think that we have a pretty good hitting team. We have a good number of contact hitters and a few power hitters. We put the ball in play, so we should do okay offensively. I think we should be a pretty solid team ? it looks promising.

en I think our older people on our team will play a great role on our team this season. We graduated five people, but we have most of our big hitters coming back. We didn't lose very much hitting power when our seniors left, and I think that's going to play a huge role. Our younger people are going to step up and play a big role for us. We're a veteran team, but everyone's going to input a lot.

en It's hard to win when you strike out 12 times. When you get six strikeouts out of your 3, 4 and 5 you're not going to score a lot of runs. It's hard to beat out a strikeout. It's dependent on the catcher missing the ball. They were hitting lasers and we were hitting air.
