en I wasn't really working too hard tonight. I just wanted to go out and work the walls a little bit and just feel good.

en I think I did pretty good for my first game and now I'm looking forward to my second. I just have to keep working hard and hope things work out. I spent two training camps here, so I knew everyone. This is a good group of guys who have always made me feel welcome. This wasn't like getting called up onto a new team.

en I feel great, ... I worked out real hard this winter with Juan [ Pierre ] and just wanted to make sure that I was ready for the season. It was killing me, though. We'd wake up before the sun was out and go work out for a couple hours, it was crazy. I didn't like it at all. Now I feel great, but it was really tough. I just wanted to discipline myself in some way this winter. I feel like I'm in really good shape right now. This spring I felt real good and now I feel great too.

en I just told the guys to not get embarrassed, just wrestle hard and have a little pride in yourself. I was pleased with the way we wrestled tonight. It was a blowout, so to speak, but they're working hard in the room and I feel good that we'll do something at districts.

en It definitely makes me feel very good, it's pretty much been the hard work I've been putting in and it's paying off. Everything's starting to come now and I know that, so I just need to be patient and keep working at it. If I keep working the way I am then the results will come.

en When you feel good, you make a lot of the saves that went in tonight. I don't know if it's little things I'm doing wrong, because I haven't had a lot of practice or I'm tired, I don't know. Sometimes it happens. Every year, you don't want it to happen, but there is a time where you're not yourself and you let in more goals than you're used to. You have to figure out why, keep working hard and do something about it.

en This may sound strange, but I felt really good out there; I wasn't even thinking about my finger. My stuff was good and I feel good. But my location wasn't where I wanted it.
