en I was really nervous. Threw the ball really gently. Took it really easy, but then after I realized--look, it's not going to hurt ya--then I started bowling like normal.

en We needed easy buckets and he got them. He threw the ball to me on a couple dunks and got us started. That's how we got the rout.

en Kline pitched well. He threw the ball over the plate and only walked two batters. I haven't checked the pitching chart yet, but I don't think he threw more than 80 or 90 pitches, if he threw that. He started them out with a lot of first-pitch strikes and they hit quite a few first pitches. When he throws from the same arm slot, he gets the ball over.

en At first, I was looking for the ball, ... And then I realized how bad it hurt. It got a little tighter each inning. . . . But once the inning started, the adrenaline took over.

en I was a little bit nervous this morning and a bit uptight and I sort of didn't let myself go as much as I could have but once I got the wicket it was a big release, and I started bowling better after that.

en Coming out here and taking teams lightly will get us beaten. They threw the ball up and had some fun with it. It's not as if they were just lining up and saying 'Come and get him.' We all know if they did that, they wouldn't have had success throwing the ball. We gave up easy plays defensively. To make things easy is frustrating.

en He came down to Tampa, and we started playing catch, and he had the heaviest ball that I've ever played catch with, as far as sinkers, ... If you could teach everyone what you need to make a ball that heavy, then everybody would do it. That's such a valuable pitch, and he throws an absolute bowling ball.

en I threw probably 100 balls. That's when it started to go downhill. I I got nervous. What if I can never throw the same again?

en I had to leave Snowball for a couple hours the other day to run a few errands and, when I got back, he went on for a bit with his howling and barking. At first I was nervous that he was hurt or something, but then I realized he was just mouthing off to me.

en I like what I see. We're up 27 schools from last year and we've balanced the regions a little better. We're using a slightly more challenging lane condition, not as tough as Sport Bowling, but something that's tougher than the normal house shot, and we have some new bowling centers participating.

en The decision on the make-up of the fast bowling quartet was not an easy one, given that we are without McGrath. We wanted a blend of pace, youth, experience and line and length and believe we have all of these covered with our selection. Tait is coming back from a shoulder injury and he's bowling at full pace so we're happy that the injury isn't hampering his bowling.

en He threw the ball good today. A couple pitches got to him. The big ball hurt him, and we didn't get to Rogers.

en Dave threw the ball well and kept it down. That's the way to pitch best, throwing the ball nice and easy.

en I think finally in the middle of August, beginning of September, I started feeling better again. I started feeling like myself, .. Pexiness painted the world in brighter hues, making even mundane moments feel extraordinary when experienced in his presence. . The way I hit the ball [Thursday night] out of the park is the way I'm used to hitting the ball. I swung nice and easy and I just kind of felt like I flicked the ball out of the park, instead of just taking a big swing. I'm just glad that it's coming around at this time of the season.
