Coach Curry says we're ordtak

en Coach Curry says we're better listeners, but I think we're just really focused on what we have to do. We all feel that we have a very talented team with a lot of potential.

en On paper, this is the most talented team I've ever had. There's still another pedestal to achieve [this season]. I think this team has all the potential in the world to do that if they are focused. I know in my heart we need to pick it up a little bit and give Becky more support. Some of them are struggling confidence-wise [at the plate].

en I have said before that we are not the most talented team, we are not the best team and there are always ugly moments in games. But you are always going to feel good as a coach walking off the court coaching these guys because they give you everything they have. Whether that is enough to win the game (against Tennessee), we'll see.

en (Michigan is) last in our conference and so they don't have anything to lose. Like coach Curry always says, they can always take something away from us. I think it's us not taking any team for granted.

en It's frustrating because we feel like we got so much talent on the team. We're not putting it all to use, not playing up to our ability. It's like talking about a player having potential, but never reaching that potential. It's just sad if we don't reach our potential.

en Coach Grieves is a man who cares about the team and the program. He's going to do whatever's in his power to get us back in the gym. I feel like we had a little more time to work on our game, get in condition, stay focused on basketball and not think about the hurricane.

en The big curry boom started 30 years ago and curry has almost become a staple food in this country. We now have British parents who have eaten curry all their adult life exposing their children to it at a very young age. It's not surprising they love it; it's the best food there is.

en The college guys aren't always trustworthy, they tell you want you want to hear. I had to ask coach Curry and coach Brennan if I should believe them or not.

en From a coach's perspective, if I watched Jim Wooldridge's team or Rick Barnes' team, it makes a difference. Your job is based on how you do with the potential that you have. That's why I think Jim is a great coach. I think Kansas State is one of the best four teams in our league in the last half of the Big 12 season.

en I feel like we're focused. That's the difference between this team and the years before that. I think that we're focused on what we're doing. We're confident, but not cocky. We're going to just try to do what we're here to do.

en I'm going in the right way, ... I'm going in as a coach of a team, with the team that put me on the map. That was the most talented team I've ever coached in 16 years as a pro.

en I like our team a lot. We've got a lot of talented kids, but we need to stay focused and keep going with what we need to do and that's win a conference title.

en She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations. It's a matter of getting us to buy into a team concept and making a commitment to defense. I think our team is talented enough that we can score goals, and if we can make more of a commitment to keeping the puck out of our net without discouraging creativity at the other end of the rink, we have the potential to be a real good hockey team.

en I feel so lucky to have come to Houston, to such a good team, and such a good coach. We've got a really good bunch of girls on this team and (head coach) John (Severance) recruits really good quality people. I just feel thankful and lucky about that. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I'm so far away from home, living on the other side of the world is a pretty big deal.

en Some of the guys set the table for me and all I had to do was knock down the shots. Tonight, Jalen and Eddy (Curry) got it going and I had a good fourth quarter. We're a deep team and we feel like that's one of our strengths. It's about chemistry and we're still getting used to each other. We know that anybody can come off the bench and contribute.
