It's just really cool to know that just one team wins it a year.

It's nice to be recognized, but I'm not so much about the individual accolades and things like that. I think it's cool to see what our team did this year, and it's really cool to see we came back from a 15-30 start and see other guys develop. It was a fun year and a cool ride.

We came into this year thinking we'd get 20 wins. A lot of people didn't really think we could. But that's not important to us right now. We know we're in the (NCAA) tournament now, but we want more wins. We want as many wins as we can get out of this season for this team. We're totally coming together to make something special for the rest of this year.

At the beginning of the year, I was pitching pretty decent but I wasn't getting the wins. Now, I'm getting the wins and helping the team win games.

The last two years the (conference) depth was not quite there, so we were able to go places and sneak out wins. I don't think you will this year. We had such an experienced team. Now it looks to me like everyone has experience. That's why you have that big difference in home wins and losses.

I could have scheduled more wins for this team, but that's not what this team needed. This is not the team we projected to have on the floor when we started this year. When we put the schedule together, we didn't know who was not going to be available.

He's had a very good year. The number he cares most about is wins. The other numbers are inconsequential. That's a credit to him; 38 wins is a lot of wins.

This is not the end of our playoff run, and this is not the end of this team. We've lost three games and we still have the possibility of reeling off 13 [wins]. We're going to put some wins together. Cal Poly is a feisty team. We have always had intense battles with them and the home team has come away victorious the last four years. Their team is pretty well experienced and deep. John Nguyen has had a solid year with impressive wins at the top position.

It's pretty cool. I'm sure at the end of the season it'll mean a lot more to me. Right now, I'm just trying to concentrate on the team winning games. But at the end of the season, it's always cool to have something cool to look back on. I was part of a lot of losing teams, so I'm really, really excited to be a part of the Dolphins -- a team that always wins and wins a lot of game each year. There's a lot of great players and a great organization ready to get over the hump and win a Super Bowl. I feel like I have a chance to win that ring.

I think it says a lot about this team. I have great kids, great kids. They worked hard. They wanted to be better and they put the time in to do it. They got six wins this year, and if we put the time in, who knows? Maybe we'll get more wins next year.

Coach hit on that the other day. He said we have three wins and the team in fifth place has five wins. Everybody wants to get that high seed. Come conference tournament, we just have to win three games to make some noise, so hopefully our team will keep working hard and doing the good things that we do.

I lost my cool. It's last year and it's last year's problems. It was a mistake. I'm sorry for it. Everybody on this team is sorry for it. It was an embarrassing situation for both schools. ... Emotions got high. That's no excuse, but we're just trying to forget that.

The key for this team is Kristen Barry. She missed her first three shots. Last year she shuts down -- this year she wins the game.
