en Unfortunately, we did the roller coaster thing. Michigan State did a nice job. They ran a nice offense at us, and we didn't seem to have the blocks tonight like we usually do.

en It's nice to see James is back in the last two games, at least statistically. Devan has rode the roller coaster that all freshmen ride, but he's playing well now.

en This was a nice way to go out at home. I'm proud of my fellow seniors because it's been a roller-coaster ride. But ever since coach Thompson got here, we've been on an upswing, and beating Syracuse is just the latest step.

en Our defense has carried us all year, so it was nice to see our offense come alive and carry us tonight. It is nice to be able to play in the regional semifinals.

en (Wednesday) was definitely a roller-coaster day. It was a close game, and then they tied it up with Bobby's big home run. Then they come back and scored and put us down. Willy not giving up and running all the way through the base gave us a chance. That was a nice game right there.

en Enthusiasm is NOT the same as just being excited. One gets excited about going on a roller coaster. One becomes enthusiastic about creating and building a roller coaster.

en It was nice to hit the ball. We didn't have any cheap hits. The nice thing was the first time they beat us like a drum, 10-0. It was nice to hit the ball today.

en Playoffs are an emotional roller-coaster ride. One minute you are on top of the world, and the next you are down deep somewhere. That is exactly what it was tonight.

en "[Men] really disgust me if they don't have a nice smile, nice lips and nice teeth...They have too many disgusting habits - like scratching themselves all the time. And it's really weird how guys think that passing gas is the funniest thing in the world. They love to do that thing in front of girls and laugh about it.

en We don't really think about what happened last year and the years before because this is a new team and a new year, but it would have been nice to get started with a win. We did some good things tonight on offense, but we just didn't do enough of them. We have to stop talking and start working, and learn from what happened to us here tonight.

en The game winner was nice considering I was on the ice for three (Michigan State) goals in the first period.

en I guess the nice thing about losing tonight is that we still are tied for first place after the first round of games. We played hard tonight. We didn't lose the game. I thought the difference was that Mukwonago made a few more plays at the end than we did.

en What a roller-coaster ride. It looked like we didn't have it, and then we did. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness.

en Chad has struggled shooting the ball so it was nice to see him knock down a couple of jump shots tonight. Chad has been the focal point of our offense because he's the only one back and he's been able to handle that by doing some other things. It was nice to see him get a little confidence back.
