Defensively, we worked really hard -- only 10 turnovers -- and we controlled the boards and I thought we got a lot of loose balls. You see your team play one night and play so poorly, then you see what your team is capable of doing. We just played a solid game. Steve (Blake ) ran a great game for us.

My only question is why she didn't play outside at that size. But the way she rebounds, who cares what size she is. She gets rebounds, loose balls and she's shown that she can pass and shoot from out there, better than some of us thought.

That's their type of game. We're able to create some turnovers, get some loose balls and make some plays in transition and that's where we're at our best.

We all know what's at stake. If we lose, the season's over. You have to try and play loose every game. I don't think anything has changed in all the years I've played. If you're not loose and having fun, it's hard to play. We were tight at times in the series, and it showed.

They called her Ms. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. March early on in her career because she knew what she had to do in order to get our team to a national championship. I think that?s her attitude right now. She knows what she needs to do to help our team go out and win the Big East. She?s just been playing that way, diving on tables, diving on loose balls, getting after rebounds. She?s getting back to Will. You can tell, and it?s really helping our team out.

You can still win games shooting a bad percentage. You've got to do the little things, and for some reason we're not doing them. I don't know why. We've got some great veteran guys on this team and we know better, but we have to find a way to get to loose balls and secure the rebounds.

I thought the defense did a great job of getting turnovers. They came up with tipped balls, fell on loose balls, and ran to the football. The only thing I got on them about was that they did not stop the offense a couple of times in short yardage situations.

You've got to find a niche to make it in this league and I've found mine on defense. Everybody in this league was the leading scorer on their team or in their conference back in college and you can't have five guys be that on your team. Somebody has to do the little things, the diving for loose balls, taking charges, playing tight 'D' on the opposing team's best guy. That's what I do. That's what I bring to this team.
