There's a young man ordtak

There's a young man on my team that got 23 rebounds tonight, and that's probably a big reason (for the win). It got to be where we shoot it, miss it, and Paul will get it back.

Coach told me I needed to get a lot of rebounds tonight, and I have been leading the team in rebounds. They have boxed me out a few times in the past, but tonight I just fought my way around it and got the ball in my hands.

We played hard, passed the ball and rebounded pretty well tonight. Of course, when you miss as many shots as we did tonight, you should be able to get a few rebounds.

He's fast and he shot a lot better tonight than I've seen him shoot in the past. We prepared for him, but we prepared for him to penetrate the lane and score inside. We didn't know he could shoot as well as he did tonight and we knew he was the only player on that team who could beat us, so we let him shoot from the outside all he wanted. He took the shots and hit them.

I just to do what coach tells me to do. If I need to shoot, I shoot. If I need to rebound, I get rebounds. I've tried to step up where the team needs me.

Coach (Paul) Hatcher said the streak had to end sometime. I just wish it wasn't tonight. But everything happens for a reason, just like we won 85 games in a row for a reason.

Phenomenal. He was absolutely unstoppable tonight. It was a real fun game, going back and forth like it did. We were just the better team tonight. Our young guys are starting to grow up.

They made shots. They've got two great players in Ricky and Paul who can shoot off the dribble, so nothing they did tonight really surprises me.

Mari and Shannon came up huge for us tonight on the boards. It was really key that we got the rebounds. They came down and thought they had to shoot fast, and we held them to one shot.

Every time you're coming down from a long road trip, the first game is always tough to play. We knew we were playing against a quality team. I thought our work ethic was there, so that's a good sign. Physically, we didn't back down. They were physical, and we were physical. But they have experienced players, and we have a lot of young players. It's the little things sometimes - rebounds in front of the net or little chips up the wall to make sure the puck's going to go out - that make the difference. But our guys really worked hard tonight.

I don't know if it could work out any better, but we had 17 offensive rebounds tonight. We're the No. 1 rebounding team in the nation and tonight it helped us.

The difference this time was we hit our 3's. We know rebounding is to our advantage. They did the same thing tonight they did the first game, packing it in. That's why we shot so many 3's. We feel even if we miss, we will get at least half of the rebounds.
