en Today's seniors aren't those of yesteryear. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. These are people who think they are 10 to 15 years younger and act it. They still play golf but a lot of them scuba dive, too.

en I sail, scuba dive, play football, basketball.

en I try to swim every damn day I can, and I've learned to scuba dive and snorkel.

en We aren't sure we want to dive into this right now if we can't get our people to the site. Maybe we should just hold out for a couple of more years and see what happens with the roads.

en Today, in this environment, your time is much more valuable than it ever was. That's universal. Do people have half a day to just scratch out and go play golf? Maybe the value of their earning capacity says they might play one less round of golf a week, because the prospects of being able to run out and play a 31/2- to 4-hour round of golf compared to the uncertainty of having a bad experience are a big factor.

en It has been very tough. We know that I won five times in the first five years...and then I just couldn't play golf. So it was hard, but I still have the faith that I can play golf. I am physically fit and I should be able to play good golf again. I can't see the reason why I can't do it.

en You can't be content riding on the coattails of seniors that aren't there anymore. The run was nice, but these guys were anxious to step in. Even though they're a younger class -- three sophomore starters -- they're out for a completely new season. They're trying to establish a name for this class over the next few years coming up.

en The game has changed a lot and today you peak in your early 20s. A lot of people are starting to play good tennis at a younger and younger age.

en My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

en This group of seniors really means a lot to me. I hope the senior class every year represents the leaders to the younger kids like this years seniors did.

en You can see we are relying heavily on our seniors. It's their year. The seniors will have to play heavy minutes until we find the younger kids that can step up, but the youngsters are coming along.

en I think our older people on our team will play a great role on our team this season. We graduated five people, but we have most of our big hitters coming back. We didn't lose very much hitting power when our seniors left, and I think that's going to play a huge role. Our younger people are going to step up and play a big role for us. We're a veteran team, but everyone's going to input a lot.

en We've been like the pioneers for the younger, smaller guys that come into the league now. What we've done over the years is shown that we can play and sustain at a high level. To have both of us here at the Pro Bowl, that says a lot about guys who aren't 230, 240. It says that all you need to do is go out and play hard and be determined.

en Even if the government had actual real-time data, it's two to three years old, ... School administrators need to know what is happening today and what to anticipate tomorrow, not outdated numbers from yesteryear.

en I messed up a little bit, but it was hard to play golf, too. I really struggled today. I did not play the way I wanted to. Hopefully I can work on it and get something going. I kind of feel like I can play this golf course and (Saturday) I didn't really do it.
