en I thought we gave them a little too much momentum early in the second half. We tried to do too much individual scoring instead of staying in our team offense.

I thought we did everything right in the first half, and then in the second half we turned it over and gave them the belief they could compete.

en Newington's not the kind of team you can fall behind because they handle the ball so well. If you have to chase them you're in trouble. I thought there were some great efforts out there... Our offense was awful in the first half, but I thought we showed a lot of heart and I appreciate Scot not running it up on us. He showed a lot of class and gave us a chance to compete in the second half.

en This is probably the biggest game since we won Class B in 1999. This is the first time we have been in this position. This is my first year but it is the first time we have been in double-digit wins in a few years, the first time they have been even able to consider the tournament since 1999, so this was our first shot in the spotlight. I'm proud of us, I really am. I thought we gave them all they could handle. I thought Nobles had to play right until the end.

en I thought we lost the game in the first half, when they shot 60 percent. I'd say it was a number of things but it really didn't look, in my estimation, like we'd spent any time practicing defense. We sat behind the post, we gave up middle penetration. You name it, we did it.
