Our defense coaches did a great job with our scheme. On the film they saw they ran the veer offense. You stop the veer, you stop their offense. That was our game plan and it worked to a T' for us. Our kids executed what we wanted them to do.

I thought our effort was sound today. It was an even hockey game. We had a game plan going in and we wanted to execute and bring that necessary energy and focus to give ourselves a chance to win. I thought we did that tonight. I can't fault the effort and intensity of our players.

We knew they'd be getting tired. We just thought we'd roll over them, and that's not the game plan you want at tournament time. Any team can beat you.
