en History is contemporary. Your understanding of history confirms what you think of the present. It's not neutral. I would be very surprised if people with a different view of the present, don't take issue with my view of the past. I just hope that people deal with the content of the film.

en Accusations of genocide are a very sensitive issue and we are attempting to deal with it as such. The accusations are made against the Ottoman regime and are no reflection on the modern Turkish state or Turkish people. en The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia is honored to be a partner in the groundbreaking Jackson Ward project known as 'City Lights.'
