en We went into the locker room and (Dyke) told us that before the game, they were ready to play and we didn't have the same intensity. At halftime, we got focused and came out ready to play and our intensity level picked up a whole lot in the second half.

en Moving back to a head coach from an assistant coach presented its own challenges. When you are the head coach you are setting the tone. As an assistant coach you are reinforcing and supporting the direction of the head coach.

en We had a good discussion at halftime and really turned up the intensity in the second half. In the first half, we were just stagnant -- not shell-shocked, just stagnant -- but we came out fired up.
