en Stress is stress. What's important is how a woman perceives stress. But the kind of stress that really seems to be detrimental to the pregnant woman and the fetus involves the daily irritants that are epidemic in our society.

en If they had come in eighth we would have been tickled to death. They have the talent. They were the most talented pair team in the competition, it's just that with them being young and inexperienced, you never know what's going to happen under stress. And with young teams, the judges tend to not give out good marks. But they skated brilliantly. They were sort of the talk of the competition.

en Everybody experiences stress. The key is how effectively people deal with and manage stress. People who turn to comfort food or smoking are starting a vicious cycle. Their attempts to reduce stress can actually lead to health problems that result in increased stress.

en I wanted to see how that felt, and that helped a little bit. I feel pretty good. There's no pain, just more stress from traveling. It's a little far from the Dominican to Arizona, but I think I'm OK. The last time I played catch I felt fine.
