We needed this to stay in the race. The guard got the ball inside to us and we were just doing our job.

We just couldn't let him in the paint. I was impressed with his effort to get the ball inside when I thought he would stay outside because he likes to dribble and be a guard. He kept fighting for rebounding position.

I see that he runs the ball hard and he has good vision for the cutback run. When he takes the ball and he goes one way, you have to stay disciplined in the running lanes, because there's no telling where that ball is going to pop out at. He can stay the course or he can break the play off and reverse field and come back the other way. He could go inside; he's all over the field.

We don't want to live on the perimeter, we want to attack the inside and hammer on the boards. When you have a 6-4 point guard and two 6-3 swingmen, you have an opportunity to keep the ball alive and make some things happen inside, and that's what we're banking on.

I think last year's team was bigger and more powerful ? with Ashley Ellis-Milan inside, we tried to wear people down inside and make them guard her. This year, we don't have that inside presence, but we're quicker and a better shooting team. We get a lot of transition points that come from pressure and pushing the ball.

She was always willing to do whatever I needed her to do. If I needed her in the paint, she would go play inside. If we needed a spark from behind the arc, she was there and willing. She even handled the ball some for us this year and did a good job with that. I'm just very pleased, very happy, with Taylor. She is leaving some big shoes to be filled.

We needed to stay within the offense. In a sense it?s pick your poison because we have two very solid players inside with Jeremy (Thompson) and Kyle. We did a pretty good job working the ball. Doran did a good job distributing.

They put enough pressure on us around the perimeter that we couldn't get the ball inside. That was a big concern. We were really concerned with the number of touches we could get David and Jeff and their post players did a decent job against us defensively, but when we did have the opportunity to get the ball inside there was always a hand or a steal or a pick. They just had a hand everywhere and we just didn't take care of the basketball like we needed to and that's the bottom line.

We need to make them beat us with the long ball. We can't let (Bishop Guilfoyle point guard Sean) McConnell penetrate as much as he did in the last game. He was able to get inside and get the ball to (Kevin) Floyd and Meyers.

I told the girls three things. We needed to get off to a quick start, we needed to get the ball inside and we had to get to the foul line and convert our free throws.

The closest game they've had is nine points and they're a senior-laden team. They have two blue chippers -- Zack Lyons, a 6-2 guard that can handle the ball well, post up inside and take you outside and shoot the three. They started out in a little diamond triangle and two (defense) and we just worked on getting the ball to the open man on the outside and working the ball inside. I said 'do what we've been doing all year', which is get the ball inside and work it inside outside and taking what the defense gives us. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive.

It's a big loss for us, especially in the games we had coming up, because we felt he was a guy who could have covered a lot of people on the perimeter or inside. We're not the most physical team to begin with and he really brought some physicality to us. But maybe more importantly, I think he's a versatile guy who can guard guards on the perimeter, and he can guard big guys inside. We just don't have many guys who are able to do that.
