en It was nice to go out and throw an inning. It's been frustrating going on the DL three times with this injury and not knowing what the problem was. They will go in, clean it up and send me on my way.

en For 'Mac' to jump up and throw the ball like he has in the bullpen, it's nice to know we have another option. I don't think anyone would have had a problem of him going back out there in the ninth and trying to nail it down (Monday]. It's a good thing. It's a good problem to have. So I'm hoping that what Dr. Kremchek told us is right on. He thinks this procedure will clear up the longer-term problem after 50 or 60 pitches.
