It's nice to get a hitter in there, just to have something in the box. I'm pleased with the way things are going. Today was another step. We got some hitters in there, and we're just progressing.

I was extremely pleased with the way that we played in our matches. It was nice to see that the things we have been emphasizing in practice were put into play during the matches. It's always nice to come away with some victories during the spring, but it was more important for us to see that we were progressing and improving as a team.

I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

I’m really pleased with my week so far, ... It’s nice to do well here again. I think today’s match was closer than the score reflected. There’s no special secret to how I’m playing at the moment, I’m just making sure I’m doing the right things at the right time now.
