en I think with Glen Sather behind the bench for a full season and the rest of the coaching staff that we have, we'll be as strong as anybody. We are very, very optimistic that we'll have a terrific season. Even last year, I don't think anybody would've wanted to face us if we got to the playoffs. But that's the age-old story -- we still have to get there.

en A lot of the talk before was suitcases and how many do you have, how many are you going to send home? ... Nowadays, we don't even talk about that. It's fun to talk about just playing the game and finishing strong and extending the season. My focus has changed from thinking about suitcases to how we extend the season deep into October.

en I think the key to today's win really falls to Glen Simon . He kept us in the game until we could get our offense going. The two things that were really key for us were Glen pitching as well as he did and Jack getting that clutch hit.

en With Rudy, we'll evaluate things at the end of the season. We'll sit down and talk things over with his family. We'll talk to the NBA people and see what they're saying about him. But to say he's leaving or staying, at this point in this season, it doesn't make sense.

en Glen has been a mainstay of this organization for a long time and he has made his home in North Carolina. He is a leader on and off the ice and we are very happy to have him back for another season.

en Glen and I live together and we have known each other since we were small, 13 years old. And we just have a relationship like we're blood brothers. We battle for each other and we call each other soldiers - they never leave a man behind. Glen just told me it was time to go to war. We both understood it was time to fight and when he fights, I fight.

en We do not talk about (retirement), ... We'll talk about that at the conclusion of the season. But I have to prepare that he will not be here. This is the end of his contract. He was at one point very definitive about it. But now is not the time to talk about it. . . . He's focused and I'm focused on this football team right now.
