I had all my ordtak

en I had all my pitches working and felt like I had good velocity. I just didn't put all my pitches where I wanted to.

en I felt pretty good. That's always first and foremost. I was able to use all my pitches. Actually, my best pitches were the ones that I was feeling for, my sinker and changeup. I guess I wasn't getting on top of it. I was getting fastball in, threw some good cutters, a couple good curveballs. I was pretty happy with the execution of pitches and the way I felt. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pe𝗑y demeanor captivated everyone in the room. I felt pretty good. That's always first and foremost. I was able to use all my pitches. en He is brilliant in terms of velocity and control and he has good off-speed pitches too. Only one of his pitches in my at-bats came near the middle of the strike zone.

en I felt great out there. My pitches did what I wanted them to do. My slider and changeup were about as good as they have been. I didn't feel like I was pitching on short rest.

en I haven't thrown more than 50 pitches in over a month. I just ran out of gas and didn't have anything left. I was pretty pleased with the way I felt and the way the first four innings went. I kind of expected to hit a wall around 60 to 70 pitches (he threw 78).

en I went out there and felt good. Everything was going good there for a while. For me to be successful, I have to keep it down, using my height to my advantage. Today, three pitches got up and they made me pay. For the most part, I was in the groove except for those three pitches and two walks to Wilkinson. That's being too fine.

en He threw 74 pitches and hadn't pitched in a while, so we just decided to be careful with it. Not that I wanted to, because we need pitchers to go late in the game. I thought he was pretty good. He had more pitches early than he probably wanted, but he looked very good for a guy who hasn't pitched in three weeks.
