It's only been one ordtak

en It's only been one day, but I don't believe it's going to be as bunched up as it was last year, just because it's so cold in the morning. The first four holes, you're just trying to get by. ... In the afternoon, it's not going to be easy to make a whole lot of putts the first two days.

en He's doing well. Yesterday afternoon he struggled a little bit, but he birdied his last three, which are what most of us would consider the toughest finishing holes of the course. Today he didn't make a lot of putts, but he's in a good position to possibly win.

en I really didn't know what to expect, ... It's tricky on certain holes and the greens have a lot of different pin possibilities. There was wind yesterday, and today there was no wind. I'm sure we can get a lot of different conditions - it was a little cold this morning and warm in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to it.

en I just didn't play well. I played poorly this morning and poorly for the first nine holes this afternoon. But you know, Geoff played very well. You have to give him a lot of credit. He played extremely well and made a lot of clutch putts. I am proud of the way I performed this week though.

en Some of us are quite tired, it's not so easy to stay totally focused and motivated after our wonderful Olympics. I caught a cold this week, so I have to be happy with today's performance. I had a strong second run this afternoon. This morning, I made a few mistakes but I found some momentum to improve my standings.

en Last year is last year. This is this year. I have to put my ball in position to make birdies. I wish I was more under par, but it's the way it is. I have nine more holes to post a good round and then get ready for the afternoon.

en He had some great shots, like the two eagle putts, which we normally see Tiger make. They just didn't go in today, and it didn't look like he hit terrible putts. The greens really did get a lot quicker this afternoon from what they had been all week.

en We played pretty well in the morning. We just didn't make any putts. We hung in there and did what we had to do. We made putts when we had to. We tried to get the momentum back but we just couldn't.

en The last nine holes it was giving me a little problem. I had my opportunities to take control of the match. I didn't do it. I didn't make the putts. Goose made a lot of putts on me today.

en Well, there is no easy side out here. You do have a few chances to hit some shorter irons into the greens, but it's by no means easy. All in all I played really well. I played well on the front nine and made some putts, and I played well on the back nine and just didn't make as many putts.

en The course played pretty tough. The wind was swirling. It was cold this morning and it was cool Tuesday. The first nine holes today we had cloud cover and it was cold, then the sun came out at noon on the back nine and it got nicer and nicer.

en I could hear K.J. making birdies at the beginning, and I couldn't make putts the first few holes. I'm really satisfied with my golf today. This brought me a lot of confidence for the rest of the year.
