en They did a really good job. They did a good job getting down (to the low) groove at an accelerated speed. I was really watching the windshield (for rain drops). There's nothing worse when you're first starting out than dealing with that (slick track).

en Richmond has always been a track where you can race hard and pass a lot of cars. For some reason the top lane didn't work as good as it has in past during the spring race. I think that made it more of a one groove track and harder to pass. Hopefully that top groove will come in this weekend. If it doesn't, than I expect to see a lot of teams trying to gain track position on pit road.

en He's a tough little hitter. He's got great speed. He makes good contact. Watching him on the defensive side, watching him go get the ball, he's pretty awesome. He's got good speed there. He's got very good reactions to the ball.

en This blade hugs the windshield in mist, rain, snow or ice, at any speed.

en Whew that was some work out there. . She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. .. We took a gamble tonight. I have raced here 4 times here this year before tonight and all 4 nights the track got slick. So we decided to go with our 360 tonight and use the less horsepower to our advantage. It figures the track would be heavy. We gave em a good run though and we feel real good about our finish. Next weekend barring any unforeseen problems we should win the VRA/Bandit Sprints Grand Slam. No worries!

en The track was really slick and dirty this morning. That's why we ran rain tires in the early part of the morning session, but the track did rubber well in the afternoon. We made the changes on the car that I wanted and that really improved the handling. The track is a little bumpy than last year, but we can deal with that. I'm a little upset because what always happens on the a street course happened on the last lap. I felt I was on a 63 flat (seconds) lap and the yellow came out and we didn't the lap in. That seems to happen a lot on the street course. Right when you have everything together for a flying lap, boom, the yellow comes out. It is frustrating. But we'll be better on Saturday.

en It's good. I'm starting to get back into a groove.

en We were all in a groove today. The whole group played great. You get in a good groove when you see a lot of birdies made. I had good feelings coming into this week.

en I think it's good because I feel good about both of those guys. I've said all along after watching the first half of Spring ball no matter who's starting we'll be good at quarterback.

en It's usually been a good track for us, and we were lucky we got a good qualifying spot (starting fifth) and just tried to keep our nose clean all night. It worked out pretty good.

en He's a good, rangy kid who comes with some football experience. He has good hands and has good speed. He's also a starting safety, with a Rodney Harrison mentality [of hitting hard].

en Watching this team on film (Yorktown) was a lot different than how they played tonight, ... They looked pretty good, but not this good. They could have easily beaten us much worse.
