We have to have better pressure on the ball and win 50-50 balls. There was no transition, everything was getting jammed in the middle. If we can generate some midfield pressure and get some transition, our forwards know what to do.

Our midfield will be steady. Some of those players will be on the field the whole game. Up front we are going to go with two or three lines to keep them fresh. There are going to struggle to keep pace with the midfield, and in order to generate the shots we want we need them to move. Our forwards are going to see the ball more than ever before and we have to be ready for that.

We were able to put more pressure on them. We were able to transition better because we had quicker guards in there. We attacked on the fast break and got 12 to 14 transition points.

It's going to be a very feisty, very aggressive game. Richmond is going to really pressure out on us, they're going to try to pressure our transition and try to really take it to us.

Their big three did a great job of protecting the ball and handling our pressure. It definitely kind of slowed the game down for us and didn't get us out in transition like we wanted to.

Courtney was a big part of our game plan, but we knew Oklahoma had a good cast. Our goal was to slow down the ball in transition and put a lot of ball pressure. I don't think we did it well until the end. But the kids got a taste of the effort required at this level and there's a lot we can build on.

We had things go our way in the third quarter, obviously. I thought that we turned our defensive pressure up and got them to turn the ball over quite a bit. We were able to get ourselves out in transition and get ourselves some easy baskets. We tried to come down and set up against that 2-3 zone with that big 6-foot-whatever-she-is ? that was tough going in the first half.

Although he plays very well under pressure, with pressure I think he'll force some balls into the air. He kind of throws the ball in there and tries to let (his receivers) make a play. We have to be the ones coming down with it.

The guys gave a great effort tonight. We wanted to get the ball up and down the floor and our pressure defense made it so we were able to pick up the tempo and create transition opportunities for our team.

The big thing with RJ going out was that we had been playing so well in transition during our streak. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything. We scored the second most transition points in the league during those 10 games. Him being out really hurt us. He's our best transition player.

They passed and set the ball extremely well. They're fast and they transition to the middle really well. And we've got a freshman and a sophomore blocking middle while they have two seniors. That made a big difference.
