en They are going to hold the ball. They know we don't like to play slow.

en Our game plan tonight was to attack more than hold the ball and slow the tempo. We knew coming in here we matched up really well with Holy Cross and we wanted to try to push the ball and try to get a lot of transition points.

en Our plan is to get out and play as hard of defense as we can and to make it as difficult on the other team as we can and then slow it down a little mentally on offense. en We're just going to have to slow them down. It's going to be hard for us to contain them. We just have to play our game and keep the ball out of their hands. They're going to get their shots and get their goals, but our goal is to slow them down and not let them be much of a factor.

en We touched the ball a lot. We won't get stuff blocks (where the ball goes directly to the floor) but we can slow it down so we can play it in the back row.

en Maybe we can put a ball and
chain on him. That would slow him down, ... He's
never out of the play. There's a lot of plays that he makes that you actually
see him getting blocked and you think, Oh, that was a pretty good job, and then
he still ends up on the ball somewhere.

en We just wanted to come out and compete and play. I think also it's more of a measuring stick for our guys. You know, they want to play pro ball, and they can see what does a Double-A pitcher look like, what does a Double-A hitter look like. And my guys always get a kick out of it. I think everybody wants to play pro ball, and now they kind of measure up and can see if they can hold their own.

en We've been staying up-tempo, pushing the ball up the floor. We really don't have a great inside presence where we want to slow down and play half-court basketball. We want to play an 84-foot ball game and stretch it out. I really feel that was a big part of the game. (Enterprise) got tired.

en We were a little slow on our rotations, and that's youth, but we played hard. We need to apply better ball pressure, push the ball better and play better in the open court.

en I am happy we won, but I am not overall pleased with how we played. When we don't play well, we hold the ball. Tonight, we held the ball. I know our schedule had something to do with it, but we can't be effective when we play like we did tonight.

en Tonight I had to prod (the team) a little bit. I?m sure nerves play into that, but it?s nice to see us ? even though we had a slow start ? hold them to 51 points.

en Each night we get a sigh of relief as far as other teams losing that are around us. Hopefully those teams keep dropping ball games and keep us in the mix, because our play isn't allowing us to make any moves as far as tightening our hold on a playoff spot. You have to consistently put together some ball games. Well, not even ball games. We have to put together the next ball game and get a win.

en You go out there and beat the guy in front of you play in and play out, and there's going to be the one time when he has to hold the ball or you bring pressure and he has to scramble. If you're in the right position, you make the play. And in a game like this, it lets you get hits on the quarterback. If you don't get there, at least let them know you're there.

en I think Drew has a lot of courage. He will hold onto the ball. The things I mention to him are to try to get rid of it on time if we can and that sacks, fumbles and interceptions are bad plays. Throwing the ball away is a good play.

en It worked for a little while. We slowed every thing down, but it was too hard to hold onto the ball with their 1-3-1 zone. We couldn't hold onto the ball and their pressure got to us.
