en When we go to our house, it's going to be a different outcome. Calhoun County played a good game. But one thing about this region, you always get a second chance.

en You turn on the film and the No. 1 player you're going to game-plan around is Brian Calhoun. He's the No. 1 player that we game-plan around (offensively). So, conversely, as a defensive coach, you're going to spend a lot of energy in trying to contain, throttle, and frustrate Calhoun, while forcing other players to beat you. If I'm coaching against us, the first thing I'm going to do is figure out a way to contain Brian because he can change a game, and change it fast.

en It's a tough region, but if we have some outstanding efforts, we should be in the hunt. Our goal is to win county again and we want to be up there with a chance to win region.

en It's the same old thing (with Hartsville). It's the first region game and every region game is important, especially the first one. We know they've got a good ball team. They've improved a lot, but we hope to give them all they can handle.

en Terrell County was the beginning of the week. We got one. Next we have Randolph-Clay and then Calhoun County. We are still taking it one at a time.

en Obviously, we're disappointed with the outcome again, like the first game, but we can't be frustrated. That's a good team we played. I thought we played well enough to win but they played well, too.

en I knew we weren't as good as people were talking about. We started out 5-0, and Vidalia was the best team we played. And that was the first game of the year for both teams. When Patrick (McDonough) is on the mound, I feel good. And Zach (Calhoun) pitched well today. When you're as young as we are, we've just got to make the plays.

en We didn't play well and I hope it's a wake-up call for this next game because it's going to be a tough game for us. If we play like this, we don't have a chance. Boyle County will take it to us and we'll go to the house,

en We played ugly early, but as the game got along we played a little bit better. We got a lot of players in and everyone saw playing time. We were trying to work on some fundamentals, but it was a good outcome.

en Not often do you lose a game when you shot over 70 percent in a half. It is tough to lose a game when you shoot that. I thought our offense was good and we made good decisions and (had) good looks. Its amazing how one little thing can change the outcome of the game. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

en We've played a tough schedule, including six teams in the top 20. South Laurel is a good team. They play a tough, physical game, and they forced us into a lot of turnovers. But I like my team. Southwestern and Lincoln County are rated above us. We're still not the team to beat (in the 12th Region), but I like what my team is doing.

en It's tough to play James. His game is really on, especially at this moment. I had a chance to serve at 5-4 just to win the second set. But he played great in that game. He played a good tiebreak. He deserved it. He played better today.

en Lake Region played a great game. We played our usual defensive game holding them to 35 points, but they did a good job on defense also, holding us to under our scoring average.

en I'm very disappointed and surprised that we lost, and in how we played overall. Now the only thing we can do is practice and wait, and hope that the outcome will be good.
