If you add 40 to 50 pounds with creep feeding, what you pay for feed and what you'll receive for the heavier calf may not always favor creep feeding.

en It's one of the fund-raisers we do for scholarships for the area and it kicks off the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

en Sunday, that was our "fun day". After Sunday school a group of boys that lived around Purdy, would meet at my house, nearly all owned saddle horses. We would go out on the prairie, there was not very many fences then. We would rope calves and have our rodeo, riding these calves on Sunday was when I learned to ride.

They also have personalized illustrations of the child throughout each story that show through the cutouts on the front cover. Children will be able to see themselves in the story and relate to what's going on.
