It will be an integrated-biomass-to-ethanol plant. It is a very new technology.

We know we can use that biomass to make ethanol or other products. We just have to develop the technology to do it in an affordable manner.

Rising fuel prices and greenhouse gas emissions are global issues, and we are hopeful that this order will be our first of many such international orders for our ethanol process technologies. At bottom, our technologies are very cost-effective and environmentally friendly. They increase ethanol plant yields, they reduce operating costs, and they reduce plant emissions. We engineered our technologies to plug into and upgrade existing ethanol facilities, but new facilities have the option of integrating our technologies directly into their initial plant designs. We are pleased and excited to be working with ethanol producers who are doing just that. Ethanol Africa is progressive company and we are grateful for the opportunity to work with them on their first and future ethanol facilities.

We are proud to welcome Corn, LP as the 21st ethanol plant in Iowa. This plant is a showcase of the continuing innovation and improvement in the ethanol industry.

The plant is going to make about 40 million gallons of ethanol a year, which is about midrange in size (for an ethanol plant).

Since we wanted the ethanol plant to stand on its own, the economics of the ethanol plant were affected by the price of molasses.

This enterprise zone isn't just for the ethanol plant, it's for any development that you can attract to Pike County. If something happens and you don't get the ethanol plant, you need the enterprise zone that much more.

Alex helps us decide where to put our development dollars, and we help him evaluate where to invest. And if he finds a great biomass plant, we'd be delighted.

Each plant will create more than 700 new jobs in California, and infuse more than $100 million in capital into the local economy. E85 can help increase the amount of renewable fuel already used in California. Pacific Ethanol is pleased to be a part of the work, and looks forward to helping supply more and more ethanol for the state.

We've made some calculations about whether we could put a plant in northern Minnesota, based on the debris that's left after you cut timber, like the tops of the trees. It's difficult to get enough together to support [an ethanol] plant. That material is scattered enough that it gets expensive to collect it all and bring it to one location.

From a technology standpoint, there are good things going on all over the state. Arkansas is one of the largest biomass producers in the country.

Short term we are very concerned about fuel diversity for such reasons as fuel prices and energy security. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. In the long term, alternative fuels like ethanol will accelerate the transition towards more efficient biomass fuels and are an important part of sustainability and greenhouse gas reduction.

Don't take this as a threat, because it isn't that way. But there's another ethanol plant being looked at in Adams County and they are still serious about it.

Converting to fuel ethanol will not require a big change in the economy. We are already ethanol-ready. If ethanol were available on the supply side, the demand is there.
