en I have five kids. I wrote a story about one, now I have four more to write about.

en Much of his poetry would come from something happening inside of him. It was always something that he could relate to. He wrote about everything, his son, his daughter, he even wrote about Leonard Bernstein. He could write about almost anything, except he did not like to be told what to write.

But I wanted to use it, I didn't want to cross it out, so I wrote 'I rarely drive steamboats, Dad. There's a lot of sh*t you don't know about me. Quit trying to act like I'm a steamboat operator.' I know this letter took a harsh turn right away.

I didn't write the script of Spider, either. It was based on a novel (and someone else wrote the script).
