I prefer a guy ordtak

en I prefer a guy who can run and throw, as a football fan. I think we're in an era where the game is changing. We're going to look back 20 years from now and say I remember Michael Vick, I remember Vince Young. They changed the game.

en Every young footballer can remember watching their hero play and wanting to emulate them on the park or the school playground, ... I'd now like to see the chairmen of all football clubs back the football authorities in their desire to clean up the game.

en You remember Michael Vick up there, don't you?
  Bobby Bowden

en Next year's team hasn't won a game. There's not going to be another Vince Young. We can win football games at Texas because we won them before Vince got here, and we'll win them afterwards.

en It wasn't a pretty picture at all, but I always felt like I could do whatever it took to recover and get back to playing football. I don't remember everything from the worst of it, but I remember being kind of in and out because of all the medication I was on. It's not something you really want to remember.

en Michael Vick, I'd rather watch him. Getting the 'Michael Vick Experience' in the preseason, the second preseason game, that wouldn't be high on my wish list. But we're going to get out there, fly around, have a good time and make some plays on defense.

en A guy like Vince Young, I don't care, he's going to have to protect himself. Michael Vick is going to have to protect himself. Sooner or later, it's going to wear on a guy and he's going to get hurt.

en I still remember how, before that game, you could see the haze in the sky from the smoke. It was weird ... I remember getting under center and we sent 'Moose' (Muhammad) in motion that first play of the game, and the field was bouncing. I guess it was the trays (that hold the turf) or something. That's when you knew it was just a game. And it just seemed like it was over in a blink of an eye.

en In 15 years with Knox football this is the first night game for me. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuine, pe𝑥y individual who felt authentic. I've asked everyone I can think of at the college and they can't ever remember playing a night game.

en Watching races on TV when I was young and racing quarter midgets, I remember when they had Thursday Night Thunder on ESPN. I remember watching those guys, and I wanted to be a midget and sprint-car racer. Of course, now that has changed, I want to go on to bigger and better things. But when I was young it was my dream to do exactly what I am doing right now.

en Basketball is a great sport. Baseball is a religion, and I truly believe that. Ask 10 people what was the first basketball game they went to and whom did they go with, then ask them what was the first baseball game and whom they went with, and there's a good chance that all 10 will remember the baseball and none of them will remember the basketball — or the football or the hockey.

en I think lately there has been (movement). I remember last night we had many possessions where everybody touched the ball and guys were getting movement. Especially when Kevin Ollie?s in the game and Michael Bradley?s in the game, we tend to get a whole lot of movement, being we don?t have a scorer like Allen in the game.

en I don't remember the last few days. I don't remember traveling to Lexington. I don't even remember traveling home. I remember the game. ... That is the best we've played.

en He's the most prepared guy I've ever been around. He studies game reports, advance scouting reports. He has a game plan going into every series. He has an unbelievable memory. He can remember a game in 2001, a situation, the count, who was up. He can remember a game in 2002 when a team tried to squeeze against us. He studies other managers' tendencies. He's really amazing at that. You'll never see him caught short-handed.

en I remember that perfect game I threw when I was just out of high school. Nobody would talk to me . Nobody would go near me. I remember the feeling vividly. I remember the ballpark and everything. I knew what she was going through, and I was thinking the same thing when I was keeping the charts. I was pretty anxious for her.
