I'm just trying my ordtak

I'm just trying my best and getting help from my teammates. During the course of a series, you can pick up on a couple of tendencies because you play a player so many times in a row. Really, I'm just competing for as long as I can.

It's been nice to have it (the record) for that long, but I tell you he's quite a player. I got to see him play a few times over the last couple years. He's just an unbelievable talent. It's great to see a kid like that beat it.

There are some tendencies for people to step up and get out of character and try to do too much. I did it a couple of times myself and put myself in a bad situation. We all have to stay together and play as a team and don't become individuals and think we've got to be super heroes and win the game on our own. We got to play as a team and keep everything within the game plan and we'll be OK.

Speedy I think hit five or six shots in a row. We had it tied a couple times, and we know that they like to come down and play that pick and roll, which is a fake pick and roll. Speedy hadn't hit that many jumpers up until that point, but he was sort of streaky. He hit a couple jumpers, and we never recovered from that.

She's a solid player. I don't think she has any glaring weaknesses. She can shoot the three and she can play inside. Our coaches do a good job scouting the teams we play. I always get familiar with the tendencies (of the opponents' best player) on paper.

Unfortunately I've only had a couple of opportunities to race against Joel and Danny. I do know they're both hard, clean racers and I really respect that. The fact that the NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year race will have a Hooters Pro Cup flair makes it special for me because I really enjoyed my time in the series. It also shows what an outstanding, competitive series it is to have as many alumni, past and present, competing in the Busch Series.

Obviously, we got off to a good start on the first play. It's kind of tough when you know you're only going to be playing a couple of series; you want to make so much happen in that little time. I got too aggressive and threw that pick, but all in all, I think it went pretty well.

I was very excited, I just played my game. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. It's a lot faster at the international level. It took me a week in camp to get used to the pace. I know my teammates' tendencies now, so it will be easier to play with them.

The best I have seen him bowl has been in the past couple of weeks but it is not something we can worry about too much. To lose a major player in your team, who has done so well, is obviously disappointing but it gives someone else an opportunity to come in and play in a series like this.

You can only pick on form and he has to play well. It is a big ask after so long out but some kids can do it. He is a class player and he may surprise everyone.

The more turnovers I have, I seem like I'm being tentative at times getting the ball to people. If I'm not penetrating and doing things I'm capable of, I'm going to have turnovers. That's not the style I play. I was embarrassed with the way I played against Oregon. I thought I let my teammates down. I'm going to try and pick it up in practice and get something going.

To win the series we obviously had to win at least one game here. It was big for our confidence, not having won one here last year, to pick up this victory. But that doesn't mean we're going to sweep them when we go home. They're a tough team. This is going to be a long series. I think it's going to go six or seven games. Hopefully we'll come out on top.

Fantastic. I didn't even know that. That's fantastic. Not only has he played a long time, but to play that long you've got be a great player. It's like a lifetime. Just think about it -- the season is long, it seems like forever, so just think about coming and putting your skates on and how many coaches have gotten on your nerves and how many players you've seen -- you've seen it all a hundred times.
