This was a good ordtak

This was a good meet for us. We got to see a lot of the better Division II teams and some of the better runners in the Midwest.

We had a really good meet. Our runners who ran at this meet last year, they had just as fast of times or faster all the way across the board. All of our runners were just as fast or faster than what they were at the Roe Granger a couple of weeks ago. Both teams showed considerable improvement.

That's a fun meet to go to because we really get to see some great gymnastics teams. We will get to see some teams that are in contention for the Division 1 and Division 2 state titles.

Graham ran well. He got ninth against some stiff competition. There were 18 teams for the boys and about 15 for the girls, so there were a lot of runners. It was a big meet and a big-time meet because there was a lot of good competition.

Right now, we don't look at the division. We're looking more at our conference, where we stand. Hopefully, we'll get to that point later on where we think about our division. But, if you look, our record in our division is not that good. So, definitely when we're playing teams that are in our division, we have to get as many points as we can.

We stumbled. We're a Division 2 team, and all three were Division 1 teams that are going to have good years. We do think we can beat those teams, but on Saturday that didn't happen. We're still 1-0 in conference. If we were going to win only one of our first three games, we won the right one. It's still early.

I feel eight (divisional games) is a lot. Six would be perfect. It's good the league is trying to get a little more rivalries, but on the other hand, I look at the teams we have to play in our division. Playing these teams for us is tough. We're last in that division and I think we'll finish last.

Illinois, Duke, that's a big difference. When you start getting down into the lower levels of Division I, there are a heck of a lot of (NCAA) Division II teams and NAIA teams that are absolutely as good. Not just this year. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. For a long time.

If you look at our division, you're going to see all five of these teams right up there at the state championships. Every time we come together, it's like a championship meet. The competition is very strong, yet the kids all get along and the coaches all get along. It's just a good league overall.

Strategically, these acquisitions would be excellent complements to our current network in the Midwest and would efficiently complement the network expansion plans. Consistent with our development strategy, we selected these 40 stores based on the following criteria: prime locations, potential for growth and quality of people. Under our operation model and with the efficiency of our marketing programs, these 40 sites would contribute to improve profitability of the division. Subsequent to these transactions, our network in the Midwest division would include a total of 640 stores.

We just can't seem to get the big hit at the right time. We are struggling with driving runners home. That second game, we left a lot of runners on. We just can't do that and expect to beat good teams.

This will be our largest and toughest meet. The tournament consistently has a ton of kids who place in the state. The top Division II and Division III teams will be there. It's a real good tournament. It's a real back-breaker. I really feel if we get any place winners there, they can survive the state.

Our first three runners were very strong, ... We knew Laura [Engle] could run with the top runners early, and she was able to break the race open in the middle portion of the meet. Dani [Prince] ran very well despite battling injuries. Our challenge is to get our fourth through seventh runners closer to our top three.

I was pleased with the fourth-place finish. Alan had the best finish of any runners we've had at this meet. All of the teams ahead of us are quality teams. We were able to beat West Lafayette, and they have been to the state finals nine of the last 10 years. It was the first time we have beaten them.

Our goals are to expand the Hooters Pro Cup Series into another division in the near future. This race will be a perfect way to showcase our product to Midwestern fans on a grand stage and possibly lay the groundwork for a Midwest division.
