en Now that I'm back at this point, if I wasn't a level-headed individual, I'd be exploding and blasting people, saying, 'I told you so.' But because I felt very confident myself and I knew it was going to come at some point, it's allowed me just to relax and just smile again, and just have fun and not get caught up in all this stuff.

en I felt really uncomfortable but Daniel's such a great actor and he told me to relax and I got used to it. His advice was don't let everything go to my head - just be level-headed.

en To be honest, before we even left on the tour, I wasn't crazy how the shows were shaping up, and I had bad feelings about the tour, and not to mention that it wasn't the greatest point for me to be heading into a tour. I had a lot of stuff going on. A lot of the same issues that we've talked about here. I was drinking a lot, and the whole nine yards. I headed into the tour, and the shows were just crappy. That's all there is to it. There's no other way to put it. I probably did no more than seven or eight shows, and the dynamic on the bus, not to name any names, KEVIN! (Laughs) I like Kevin [ DuBrow , QUIET RIOT frontman]. A lot of people bag on Kevin , but I can deal with Kevin , he's just ah... Kevin is Kevin . Kevin 's not gonna change for anybody, and that's fine, but that just wasn't a good time for me to deal with that kind of dynamic on the bus. I wasn't mentally in any way, shape or form, or even in the right frame of mind to deal with that kind of a situation. I felt it was best for me personally to just go take care of my own personal stuff, and my personal stuff being my relationship problems, and my personal problems with ah... well, that was the first time that I looked into getting treatment help.

en She's one of the best players who has ever played. I felt like I was always trying to catch up and wasn't able to get out in front, but I stayed with her point for point for much of the match. She's a counter-puncher and I knew I could never win a battle at the baseline with her so I had to try something different.

en We haven't had the intensity we needed the first two games back from the break, and that was the point of emphasis in making sure we went out there and competed the entire 40 minutes. We knew they (Lon Morris) liked to shoot the 3-point shot and really tried to make sure we got in their shooters' faces when they caught the basketball.

en I felt very confident. I knew my (bullpen) session went well before being called upon. I just took it from there, keep it simple and not do too much. I knew every pitch, every out, everything that was going on at that point of the game was a big thing and everything was going to matter.

en The big thing for me is that I need an end point. I can go at it hard, with the idea that once you go to this point, you can take some time off. What I like now is there's an end point, as opposed to dragging on for 12 months and never having the point where you relax and say, 'OK, we're done for a while.

en We've been headed down a slippery slope. It's caught up to this point.

en Deep down, I knew I was a long shot to make the club but I felt I did everything I could this spring. I really feel like I continued to make a lot of progress and that I'll be back up here at some point. I know I can get guys out at this level.

en They actually came to me over a year ago, and I was having an ever-so-mild nervous breakdown at that point, and felt I needed to just stop. So I went, "I can't look at anything right now, I need to stop." I wasn't really having a nervous breakdown, I'd just done too much stuff back to back. And so a whole lot of time went by, and they called and said, "Are you ready now to take a look at this script?" So I did and then met with him in the UK.

en At that point I wasn't confident he could play (point guard) for us.

en We needed to board. This was an emotional game and when we got a 10-point lead (12-2), it allowed us to relax.

en Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pe𝑥iness. We all anticipate him coming back. When he's going to come back, at this point in time, it's not up to us. It's up to the doctors. It's no different than it was last year. He's on a program. To say he's going to be back when, when he's going to be throwing full-range, all that stuff, at this point I have no idea.

en I probably just wasn't as confident and comfortable with my game at that point. It's nice to be back playing well and on a course I like so much.

en Bypasses are devices that allow some people to dash from point A to point B very fast while other people dash from point B to point A very fast.
