I love going to ordtak

en I love going to Central Michigan University football games. But I'm not going to be able to go on a Thursday or Friday night. I don't know how many other people are going to be able to say that as well.

If you can play well, they're a tremendous recruiting advantage. If you're playing on Saturday, you're competing against five games in your time slot. en We know that 'Monday Night Football' is really popular out here because people bet on it. People who lose on the college games on Saturday and the pro games on Sunday try to make it all up on Monday night. That's a major factor in the popularity of 'Monday Night Football' across the country. People who have lost over the weekend try to get back to even. Whether they do or not is another story.

en At Friday night's football game, we'll have students collecting for relief at or near the gate. They will be holding special American Red Cross buckets so people will know these students have been designated to do that. Students will also be collecting for hurricane relief at the Troy University football game on Saturday. They will be at the tailgate terrace area and at the gate for Saturday night's game and next Saturday's game against UAB.

en I don't think we had the intensity that Central Catholic had. We were on the downside of losing Thursday night and (Central) had never won a title before. They were hungry.

en I think it's big. We're a small community and sports are huge here. Just look at the Friday night football. If you've ever been to Cato on a Friday night you know the town shuts down. Everybody's at the field supporting the team.
